Ronald McDonald House

DJF SERVICE CHAIRS: Susan Caldwell, Shari Nevelow

Ronald McDonald House provides a temporary home-away-from-home for the families of seriously ill or injured children who are being treated at Dallas-area hospitals.  RMHD provides a caring, home-like atmosphere that lessens the burdens, reduces stress and enhances the quality of life for these families, many of whom have traveled great distances.

Ten teams of Dallas Junior Forum members prepare meals for the residents of Ronald McDonald House on a monthly basis -- more so than any other volunteer organization in Dallas. Last year, Dallas Junior Forum provided more than 8,000 lunches and dinners.

DJF Members also help staff "The Trains at NorthPark," the annual RMHD holiday fundraiser, and staff various special events at the House.
