Hopes DoorHope's Door is a full-service shelter and counseling center that offers comprehensive programs and services designed to help break the cycle of domestic abuse.  It provides direct intervention and prevention services free of charge to families affected by domestic violence in Collin County and surrounding areas. Programs and services include an emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, individual and group counseling, and community education programs. Since 1989, Hope's Door has provided safe shelter for more than 3,700 women and their children and answered over 16,000 crisis line calls.
 
DJF volunteers will begin offering services to Hope’s Door this fall and will provide dinners for the families in counseling.  Other projects in the works include organizing various supply and storage areas.
