| Dallas Junior Forum (DJF), a 501(C)(3)
nonprofit organization, was organized in 1977 to create greater interest
among women in civic, educational and philanthropic endeavors in our
community through volunteer work focused on children, families and
the elderly. DJF is one of ten chapters of Junior
Forums, Incorporated, a Texas-based service organization originating
in Houston in 1959. |
| Since our inception, DJF has donated thousands
of volunteer service hours to charitable agencies we support. During
our 2005-06 fiscal year, with a membership of approximately 75 active
and 33 sustaining members, DJF provided over 4,000 actual service
hours to non-profit agencies. Those agencies include: |

| DJF has also donated over one quarter of a million
dollars in service grants to qualified non-profit
agencies we support. Funding for these grants has been a direct result
of profits from our annual Spring Fling
fundraiser luncheon and the sales of our two award-winning DJF
cookbooks, Tuxedos to Tailgates and Deep
in the Heart. |
